Butterfly Surveys at Greenfields Local Nature Reserve

Greenfields Local Nature Reserve lies on the western edge of Whitchurch near the Llangollen Canal. The reserve’s south-facing slopes and varied habitat make it an excellent site for butterflies. Regular surveys have been carried out every 4 weeks through the flying season since the spring of 2009.
